RPRA Opens Consultation for Proposed 2027 Program Fees

From June 30 to August 14, 2026, RPRA is consulting on its proposed 2027 program fees for the following:

  • Excess Soil and Hazardous Waste Program (HWP) registries
  • Producer responsibility programs under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 (RRCEA):
    • Batteries
    • Blue Box materials
    • Hazardous and Special Products (HSP) 
    • Information technology, telecommunications and audio visual (ITT/AV)
    • Tires 
    • Lighting 

This proposal outlines the proposed 2027 program fees.

How to provide your feedback

Stakeholders are encouraged to review the proposal and submit written comments by email to [email protected] until August 14, 2026.  

RPRA will also host five webinars in July specific to each program to present the proposal, answer questions, and gather feedback. 

What happens next?

RPRA will review all feedback received and finalize the 2027 program fees by October 1, 2026. The final fees, along with a summary of the consultation process and feedback, will be posted on RPRA’s website. Registrants and stakeholders will be notified once the fees are available.
