Continental CEO Sees Chance to Remain in DAX Post Spin-offs

Continental sees a chance to remain in Germany’s blue-chip DAX index even after slimming down to focus solely on its tyre business, chief executive Nikolai Setzer told dpa.

“If the tyre business continues to perform successfully, there is a chance to stay in the DAX,” Setzer said, adding that it remained uncertain whether that would be enough in the long run. …
