Nexen Tire Focuses on ‘One-Tire Strategy’ over EV-Specific Branding

Nexen Tire announced a “one-tire strategy” instead of developing a separate brand for EV tires, a move that aims to enhance the performance of existing tires to meet both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) requirements at a more competitive price.

“While South Korean competitors are launching dedicated EV tire brands, we are pursuing a strategy that provides optimal performance for both EVs and ICE vehicles using the same product,” the company’s spokesperson said on Monday. …
