TOP SCORES INCLUDED MANAGEMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, GOVERNANCE OF HUMAN RIGHTS, REDUCTION OF EMISSIONS, CYBER SECURITY AND SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REPORTING
Pirelli achieved further growth in its sustainability score, in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, which this year rose to 85 points, 8 more than last year.
Pirelli obtained top scores in many management areas, including governance and due diligence in the field of human rights, management of natural resources and reduction of CO2 emissions. Top scores were also obtained in the areas of innovation and cyber security, as well as for the Company’s completeness and transparency in social and environmental reporting.
The results, including the analysis of all the companies assessed, more than 13,000, in the 2022 Corporate Sustainability Assessment, will be made available by S&P Global on 21 October 2022, together with the average score for each sector. The update of the composition of the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe indices will then be communicated by S&P Global on 9 December 2022.
