Earlier this year, RPRA communicated to all battery, electronic and tire producers that they had to manually recalculate their new 2025 management requirement, as RPRA’s registry would not be updated in time for reporting to reflect the amendments to the Batteries Regulation, EEE Regulation and Tires Regulation that took effect January 1, 2025.
Producers used the batteries, electronics and tires calculators to manually recalculate their new 2025 management requirement and then notified their PRO.
RPRA has now updated the 2025 management requirement in the registry. This was calculated based on data submitted in each producer 2024 supply report and the amended requirements outlined in the regulations.
RPRA recommends notifying your PRO of your updated 2025 management requirement. RPRA is not responsible for the terms and conditions outlined in the agreements that producers have with their PROs.
