Continental Rolls Out Two General Brand Truck Tires

Continental Tire the Americas LLC has launched a new line of General brand medium truck tires – the General Grabber OA 2 and OA 2 Wide Base – for regional on/off-road applications.

“These second-generation tires have a new tread compound to improve mileage, chip and chunk resistance and protect the casing to allow for multiple retreads,” says Helmut Keller, Continental’s head of product management

“The tires provide great traction, minimal stone retention, and durability,” he notes.

“Drivers should expect a reduction of road noise and improved comfort with the new tread design and tread compound. Fleets should experience better fuel economy with better rolling resistance. …
