Liberty Tire Recycling Releases 2023 ESG Report

Liberty Tire Recycling, North America’s leading tire recycler, today released its 2023 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, highlighting the company’s significant progress in advancing its sustainability commitments. The report details Liberty’s achievements in reducing its environmental impact, promoting social responsibility, and maintaining strong governance practices.

  • Reduced Environmental Impact: The company implemented energy efficiency measures, optimized its fleet operations, and developed a water conservation strategy, resulting in a reduced carbon footprint.
  • Enhanced Safety Performance: Since 2010, Liberty achieved a 62% decrease in OSHA recordable incidents and maintained zero OSHA violations across all locations in 2023.
  • Strengthened Community Engagement: The company participated in over 500 community cleanup events and supported various charitable initiatives, demonstrating its commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen.
  • Improved Employee Experience: Liberty focused on enhancing employee engagement and retention, resulting in a 10% reduction in employee turnover.
