TRAC Becomes Associate Member of GDSO

The Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC) becomes as Associate Member of Global Data Service Organisation for Tires and Automotive Components (GDSO). TRAC will participate in GDSO standardization work that aims to standardize data related to tires and other activities.

Established in January 2022, GDSO is an international non-profit association. The organization focuses on standardizing data related to tires and define solutions to access and exchange data; developing solutions tackling online tire data access; establishing worldwide agreement on a webservice to facilitate data access by stakeholders; promoting the use of the GDS to tire manufacturers and external stakeholders; and representing the Members in regard to external bodies/organisations regarding the GDS (“Global Data Service for Tyres” or “GDS”, any digital application requesting some data relating to tires).
