BFGoodrich Tires has released its first-ever Performance Driving Guide, offering enthusiasts driver education as well as advice on tire and vehicle setup from pro driver Ross Bentley and experts at BFGoodrich.

The free guide offers valuable insights not only for racing enthusiasts, but also for everyday drivers. Available both in print and online, it covers a variety of topics, with helpful tips and engaging images:

  • BFGoodrich’s on-road history
  • Safety check
  • Tire selection and pressures
  • On-track guidance

Speed Secrets Bentley is a professional driver and the bestselling author of Speed Secrets, known for helping drivers understand high performance driving. Drawing on decades of competition at elite levels of motorsport, he translates complex mental and technical concepts into practical guidance for drivers of all backgrounds. Bentley is also a respected driving coach and speaker, working with professional racers, track day enthusiasts and business leaders to elevate performance. He also raced One Lap of America with BFGoodrich in 2025.

“Partnering with BFGoodrich to create this performance driving guide has been a fantastic opportunity to share what I’m most passionate about – helping drivers build skill, confidence and real understanding behind the wheel,” Bentley said. “BFGoodrich has a long history of supporting enthusiasts, and their commitment to educating drivers about both vehicle dynamics and tire performance made this collaboration a natural fit. Together, we set out to give aspiring track‑day drivers practical, approachable tools they can use to improve every time they’re on the track. I’m excited to see how this guide helps more people discover the joy of driving at a higher level.”

Launching the guide About 10 years ago, BFGoodrich published the Ultimate 4×4 Driving Guide. The brand also has a storied history on pavement, so the Performance Driving Guide was born.

“Creating the new Performance Driving Guide has been a memorable experience for me and our team,” said T.J. Dennis, BFGoodrich Ultra High Performance Brand Manager. “Nearly ten years after launching the 4×4 Driving Guide, BFGoodrich is continuing its commitment to giving drivers the knowledge and confidence to pursue their passions. I’m proud of what we’ve built and excited to see how this guide empowers a new generation of performance‑minded drivers.”

Booklet versions of the guide will be distributed at HyperFest in May. It will also be promoted at other events throughout the year, including Share the Ride, Skip Barber Racing School dealer training sessions, SCCA Track Night in America events, and select track days.

The digital version can be found in the driving tips section of the BFGoodrich Tires website under the “Tips & Advice” menu…
