BKT And URC Continue to Grow Together: A Partnership Goes Global

BKT and the United Rugby Championship are entering a new phase of their partnership, extending their agreement through 2030 and expanding its reach on a global scale.

Already the Title Sponsor of the competition in the Northern Hemisphere, BKT now also becomes the URC’s Official Global Tyre Partner, extending its presence across all championship territories – Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales and South Africa. The agreement marks the natural evolution of a journey that began in 2022 and will span a total of eight seasons, further strengthening the company’s role within the international rugby landscape.

Built on shared values such as passion, excellence, determination and a commitment to future generations, the partnership continues to grow while keeping fans at the heart of its strategy. Over the coming seasons, supporters across all URC markets will continue to enjoy dedicated activations, exclusive experiences, matchday initiatives and grassroots rugby development projects designed to bring communities even closer to the sport.

The partnership renewal was celebrated at Stadio Lanfranchi in Parma, home of Zebre Parma, where representatives from BKT and URC shared a day entirely dedicated to rugby. One of the most meaningful moments was the involvement of young players from local Under-16 teams, highlighting BKT’s commitment to supporting the growth of future generations of rugby talent.

The expanded agreement further reinforces BKT’s international sports sponsorship strategy. The leading Off-Highway tyre manufacturer is already involved in some of the world’s most popular sports, including football, basketball, cricket, curling and motorsport.

Through this new chapter with the United Rugby Championship, BKT continues to use sport as a platform to connect people, promote its core values and contribute to the development of stronger, more united communities.
