RPRA has launched a new website, Ontario Recycles, to keep the public informed about the circular economy and recycling in Ontario.
Ontario Recycles highlights the provincial recycling programs that are overseen by RPRA for batteries, electronics, household hazardous waste, lighting, tires, and Blue Box materials. This includes information about what materials can be recycled, where to recycle these materials using RPRA’s Where to Recycle map, and data about the amount of material that is recovered and processed each year.
The new website will help RPRA fulfill its commitment to providing Ontarians with important information about resource recovery and waste reduction in the province.

OntarioRecycles.ca and RPRA.ca are intended for two distinct audiences with different types of information and presentation. Ontario Recycles is designed for people interested in general information about what and where to recycle in Ontario, while RPRA.ca will continue to have detailed information for registrants about their regulatory requirements.
