All that armor adds serious weight. The 760i Protection tips the scales at around 3,965 kg (8,740 lbs) — roughly double a regular luxury sedan. Yet it’s no slug. A 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 with 530 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque pushes it to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, and it tops out at a governed 210 km/h (130 mph).
