Tire Dinosaurs Stand Guard at Yokohama Rubber Plant

As the scent of rubber increases in intensity, visitors approaching a tire factory here may sense a pair of eyes staring down at them from above the trees.

Made with black gleaming tires, an 8.5-meter-tall dinosaur stands guard near the entrance to Yokohama Rubber Co.’s Onomichi Plant. In fact, three life-sized dinosaur statues made with tires are installed there.
