Tire Industry Mourns Passing of Doug Hamilton

Doug Hamilton, former President of Goodyear Canada, and lifetime industry professional passed away on April 5, 2022 at the age of 69.

Doug began working as in-house legal counsel for Goodyear Canada Inc. after being called to the Bar and continued in that role for 34 years before retiring in 2013. He became President of Goodyear Canada in 2009 until his retirement. Doug was an officer and director of Goodyear Canada for many years and also served on the Boards of various subsidiaries, primarily subsidiaries which operated retail networks. He also served on the Boards of the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada, eTracks Tire Management Systems, and Ontario Tire Stewardship.

Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville. Because of COVID 19 restrictions, capacity at the memorial service is limited.
