Nokian Tyres’ reported Q2 operating profit climbed 136% while sales rose 10.6%, but debt, cash flow and North American execution remain key tests for dealers to watch.
…For the second quarter, Nokian Tyres reported net sales of €379.9 million (approximately $434.4 million), up 10.6% from €343.7 million (approximately $393.0 million) a year earlier. Its underlying, or “segments,” operating profit increased 71.0% to €45.0 million (approximately $51.5 million), while reported operating profit more than doubled to €34.8 million (approximately $39.8 million). For the first six months, net sales increased 7.6% to €659.6 million (approximately $754.3 million), but segments operating profit climbed from €7.8 million (approximately $8.9 million) to €40.7 million (approximately $46.5 million)…
