SEOUL, South Korea — Nexen Tire Co. Ltd. has developed an artificial intelligence-based technology that it claims will allow it to reduce both tire noise and pass-by noise generated by cars and tires.
The company said the AI- and big-data-base « prediction system » has been in development since 2018 in partnership with Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group and Inha University in Korea and will help it increase customer satisfaction, improve the environment and research and development (R&D) time and costs.
