Bridgestone Americas (Bridgestone) today debuted the Bridgestone V-Steel Highway Service 3 (VHS3) tire for mobile and all-terrain cranes. The high-speed radial tire is designed with fleet performance in mind, delivering stability and control while lifting heavy loads and when moving between on- and off-the-road environments. This addition to the company’s expanding portfolio of specialty tires underscores the company’s commitment to innovation for all forms of mobility.
“Mobile and all-terrain cranes arguably tackle some of the most demanding and high-stakes work of any of the off-the-road machines,” said Rob Seibert, President, Off-the-Road, Bridgestone Americas. “Crane operators lift and transport heavy materials across job sites and travel at high speeds on different terrains, making a reliable and durable tire essential for any large-scale project. The new Bridgestone VHS3 tire is designed to give crane operators the confidence needed to move more, faster.”
The new Bridgestone VHS3 tire is U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) approved, meeting the safety standards set by the DOT. The VHS3 tire outpaces its predecessor, the VHS2 tire, in several categories and will officially replace it in Bridgestone’s portfolio. Specialized features of the tire include:
The Bridgestone VHS3 tire, in size 445/95R25 174F, is available now.
The new tire joins a robust lineup of premium tires manufactured for a wide range of applications. In addition to mobile and all-terrain cranes, Bridgestone’s growing portfolio features products tailored for container handlers, reach stackers, straddle carriers and articulated trucks.
