From September 2 to October 17, 2025, RPRA is consulting on its proposed Registrant Service Standards, which include measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) and service pledges that define the level of service registrants can expect when interacting with RPRA.
RPRA is developing these standards to measure its performance to ensure registrant satisfaction, operational efficiency, cost optimization where possible, and to identify areas for continuous improvement.
This proposal outlines the proposed standards, as well as the evolution of RPRA’s approach to service delivery.
The finalized standards will apply to all registrants across producer responsibility programs and digital reporting services, starting in 2026.
Registrants are invited to review the proposal and send written feedback to [email protected] by October 17, 2025. Registrants are encouraged to provide feedback to the following consultation questions from the proposal:
Additionally, RPRA will be holding two webinars to discuss the proposal and answer questions – one for excess soil and hazardous waste program registrants and one for producer responsibility program registrants. Click the applicable link below to register:
Following the consultation period, RPRA will publish the finalized standards along with a consultation report summarizing the feedback received and how it was considered.
Visit the consultation webpage for more information.
