Tire Industry Project members show double-digit progress in the reduction of their carbon footprint, as outlined in the latest KPI report published by the organization
The Tire Industry Project (TIP) has published its annual KPI report, focused on the sustainability performance of its members. The 2023 report includes KPIs related to seven pathways for the tire industry:
“The tire industry is committed to supporting a sustainable and resilient future. The progress outlined in the 2023 report shows the strong effort of all of TIP’s Member Companies,” says Larisa Kryachkova, Executive Director of TIP. “For example, in 2023, tire companies have significantly reduced their carbon footprint, continuing to make advancements in the reduction of CO2 emissions by 18%, while almost doubling their adoption of renewable electricity to more than 52%.”
