RPRA Consults on Enhancing Public Reporting, Data, and RPRA Compliance

From Wednesday, June 22 to Friday, August 5, 2022, RPRA is consulting with stakeholders on Enhancing Public Reporting of Resource Recovery Data and RPRA Compliance Activities.

RPRA is seeking feedback from stakeholders on what enhancements can be made to our public reporting of resource recovery and compliance information, including hearing what information is most valuable for your organization and why it is useful.

RPRA is responsible for providing information to the public about Ontario’s progress in advancing a circular economy, including reporting publicly on how producers are meeting the resource recovery requirements set out in the regulations. RPRA is also required to report publicly on compliance and enforcement activities.

Visit RPRA’s Resource Recovery Reports webpage to review the publicly reported resource recovery information currently available for the Tires, Batteries and ITT/AV programs.

Stakeholders are invited to submit feedback on public reporting via email to [email protected] by Friday, August 5, 2022. RPRA will consider all comments received during the consultation period. Stakeholder feedback will be summarized in a report that will be posted to the consultation page following the consultation period.
