Tire Technology Expo Returns to Hannover on March 21-23, 2023

Tire Technology Expo returns to its usual spring schedule in Hannover, and is set to be of greater importance than ever. Show founder Tony Robinson, who launched the associated magazine, Tire Technology International, in 1993, says, “Thirty years after we launched the magazine, we have the privilege of running this expo for the 22nd time – and I think its significance is greater than ever. The complexities of the pandemic and its management in China have seen the exhibitions industry there come to a standstill for the last two years, wiping out one of the other annual opportunities for companies to present their technologies.”

“Meanwhile, the situation in Russia is not conducive to exhibitors participating in events there either, making Hannover the one place where the industry can get together and demonstrate new innovations and concepts.”

“As usual, this year is a veritable A-Z of the best of the best, with multiple unveilings of new technologies and scientific developments expected across the exhibition hall.”

For 2023, the show incorporates some 220 exhibitors, plus the annual Tire Technology Expo Conference, with more than 130 speakers, held in conjunction with a series of short courses, including the 52nd University of Akron Tire Mechanics Course.

The Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence are also set to be presented live during the event, recognizing key industry achievements over the past 12 months.

“All in all, if you’ll forgive the cliché, this really is a must-attend show that will draw in top people globally to discuss the present and future of tires,” concludes Robinson.
