Nexen Tire Announces Partnership with Manchester City Football Club’s City USA Tour 2024

NEXEN TIRE, a worldwide leader in high-performance, passenger, SUV/light truck and winter tire technology, today announced its partnership with the City USA Tour 2024. The tour, consisting of four pre-season matches, gives U.S. soccer fans the chance to see the Manchester City FC compete live against top European football clubs at iconic venues across the country. Nexen Tire has been a proud supporter of the Manchester City football club for several years, and this partnership highlights the football club’s global reach and ability to connect with its massive global fan base. In addition to Nexen Tire branded Manchester City uniforms, the partnership also includes company branding at each venue.

This year’s tour kicks off with a friendly match against the City and Celtic at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C., on July 24. Manchester City then heads to the iconic Yankee Stadium in New York City on July 27 to face AC Milan. Competition continues July 31 at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., where the City will face FC Barcelona. The final friendly match of the tour is between the City and Chelsea, taking place at the third largest college sports stadium in the country, Ohio Stadium, in Columbus. With a capacity of more than 102,000, Ohio Stadium ranks just behind Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pennsylvania and Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.
