General Tire Launches AltiMax Arctic X, Grabber Arctic X Winter Tires

General Tire introduced the AltiMax Arctic X and Grabber Arctic X, two new studdable winter tires for snow, ice and wet winter roads. The Arctic X winter tires went on sale Aug. 1.

General Tire said it developed the AltiMax Arctic X for passenger cars and crossovers. The company engineered the studdable tire for grip and control in cold temperatures. It designed the tire to provide traction on snow and ice. The design also supports wet braking performance and responsive handling….
